Patchwork was a medic on a Scatter flotilla when a Rift passed through them. She came out the other side molecularly unstable — sometimes solid, sometimes gas, sometimes a high-pitched ringing in the ears of anyone standing close. She jokes constantly because the silence on the other side of a phase is the Lattice and she cannot stand to hear it.
